Alterations Overview

Alteration service is available in all UNIQLO USA stores and online store.

How to request Alteration?

• Request Alteration In-Store

  Visit any physical UNIQLO store and approach the cashier to request alteration services.

  If you are not sure about the length, you can try them on in our store fitting rooms and have one of our staff members pin them for you at your desired length.
  
  Important Note:
  *Bringing your purchase receipt will help, but it is not required.
  *Timing may vary depending on the store's alteration current volume.

• Request Alteration on UNIQLO website/APP

  If the product is eligible for alteration service, there will be an option to choose the alteration type (Normal/ Blind Stitch) and the desired inseam length.
  
  • Please note that some products may not be eligible for alteration, or may only allow Lock Stitch alterations.
  • For online purchase with alteration, please allow an additional 3-5 working days on top of the standard delivery time.
  • Altered product cannot be returned or exchanged, please request online alteration only if you are sure about the length. Else, you may get it altered later at the store.

• -  Please ensure to use clothing measurement tape for the correct measurements.
  -  The alteration result may have ± 0.5 in deviation

  • What happens if the product alteration length that I received is incorrect?

    Please note that alteration measurements may vary by up to ±0.5 in.
    For the most accurate result, use a flexible clothing measuring tape (fabric tape measure) to help us verify the measurements. You can refer to the [How to Take Measurements for Alteration] section in this FAQ.
    
    If the item you received is altered incorrectly, please submit your inquiry with the required below information, our team will contact you within 48 hours:
    - A clear photo showing the inseam length measured along the tape (place the tape along the inside leg seam).
    - Your Online Order number and Alteration Card OR Your Alteration Number Receipt and Purchase Receipt Number 
    - Your product details (item name/number, size, color, and the alteration length requested).
